I was concerned about blowing out the front of the body while drilling the hole from the control cavity to the neck pickup cavity. Needn’t have worried, because Pythagoras. Below is the destination end.

The bridge pickup was a lot easier. It’s only about an inch between the two cavities.
I probably could have used a shorter drill bit.
The hole for the output jack will need to be enlarged and centered, but I wasn’t about to chuck a 3/4″ Forstner bit in a handheld drill.
