Tapering the Fretboard

FInally got the camera replaced. Here’s the slotted fretboard clamped to a jig and ready to have one side tapered on the table saw: (click on photos for a larger version)

After cutting one side, flip it around and do the other. The cutline is pre-marked with a knife, which also helps control chipping and tear-out like you see here:

Fortunately, I cut a bit outside of the knifed line and cleaned it up with a plane. Now it’s ready to have the marker dot holes drilled and the top curved.
