These used to be common items of furniture, but just try to find one these days. (Try flea markets with lots of antiques. But don’t look at the price tags.) Sheet music is larger than regular notebook paper, so a file cabinet often won’t work. Besides, some cabinets had a neat arrangement where all the shelves would swing out when you open the door. I’m currently using two broken file boxes and a tote bag for my music.
I have an idea that this will be made of maple, with a contemporary style, and inlaid ebony on the front panel door. It looks nice, in my head.
